Muslim Interscholastic Tournament
If you’re interested in a fun, competitive atmosphere, MIST is for you! Muslim Interscholastic Tournament is a regional competition open to any high school students. Come on down and make new friends, compete and socialize. The first MIST meeting is Monday October 30 at 3:00 in room A204!

A Night At The Movies

You’re walking down the hall, rushing to class. But you hear WOSS music is having a concert with woodwinds, voices, and brass. Come out to our "Night at the Movies Concert" on Thursday Oct. 26th at 7 PM. Here some of your favourite movie themes. Admission by donation.

Field Hockey
All junior and senior field hockey teams have a mandatory party this Thursday at 3:00pm in room A128. Please bring your cleaned uniforms, and any other equipment, as well as 2 dollars for the party. See you there!

March Break 2019 - Paris, London and the Chateaux
March Break 2019...don't be left out.

Gr 12 Halloween Parade
Attention Grade 12s!! Halloween is right around the corner, which means that the annual grade 12 Halloween Parade is coming up on Oct.31 period 1! You have to dress up and donate a minimum of a toonie or a non-perishable food item to participate. No exceptions. Come help keep the tradition alive!!!

WE Scare Hunger
Did you know that every 60 seconds 14 children die of hunger. Help support those in need by coming out to our hot chocolate and cookie sale from periods 2 to 4 on Friday October 27th to help end world Hunger. All proceeds go to the me to we charity to help feed those in need.

This is just a reminder that the Model UN team will meet this afternoon from 3-4PM in Room A202. All are welcome.

Hey WOSS! World Vision Youth Council will be selling Spooky Grams in the South Cafeteria Periods 2, 3, and 4 today! Come on down to buy your Spooky Grams for your friends! All proceeds will be donated to the Operation Christmas Child Shoebox initiative.

Congratulations to the debate teams on good results at the McGill debate tournament last weekend. Particular congratulations to Kathryn Pozios and Heather Li on make the junior finals, and to Kathryn for placing second in the junior speakers rankings.

SPC Cards
Remember, SPC cards are still on sale for $10 in the cafe per 3 & 4 and with Ms. Loft in A117. For those of you who have purchased on-line and have NOT picked up your card...you need to do that so you can start getting your discounts!!

Grad Photo Appointments
Grad Photos will begin on Wed. Oct 11th. Students can book an appointment for their grad photo session online using the login information distributed to them via their homeroom teacher or first teacher of the day. There is a $35 sitting fee payable during the session to Pegasus School Images.

March Break 2018 - Last call
There are just a couple of spots left on our March Break tour to Italy and Greece. If you are still thinking about joining us, you need to sign up before October 31st. Email Ms. Loft or see her in A117 for more info.

Pink Game
Buyin tickets for the Pink Game will be sold during periods 3 & 4 in the south caf. For a toonie, you can get a ticket that must be signed by your period 4 teacher to excuse you for the Pink Game against Burlington Central on Halloween! Get yours today to watch a great game and support a great cause

Math League is back!
Math League math contest is back for this year! If you are interested in writing the October contest, it will be written on Tuesday October 24th at 3pm in Rm. 234. No sign up is required - just show up! See Mrs. Gill in the math office if you have any questions.
